I studied plant responses to abiotic stress mechanisms during my Ph.D. course, and developed microbiome-related services and conducted microbiome-related research in a company. Now, I'm studying the card games between plants and pathogens in the Rojas lab. If the plant wins, it successfully defends itself; if the pathogen wins, the plant becomes diseased. It's very exciting to explore what hidden cards each plant and pathogen holds.
